Happy Weekend

Hi Everyone, Sorry it is taken me so long to get back with you.  It has been a little crazy around here with the weekend and extra stress and all.  

Well my husband has not lost his job yet but there is rumors going around (that he is heard from other employees) they are thinking about letting a few people go and replacing them with cheaper contracted people.  This is not fair at all.  So yea that a rumor and Hubby is worried so he is still putting in applications now just in case.  Other than that, things have been okay.

I did have issues again for the sixth time with my T-Mobile Moto blur Cliq cell Touch Screen Phone.  I was so tired of the issues and waiting for them to send me a new one repeatedly so I just went ahead and upgraded to another phone.  (Actually, I feel like I downgraded to be honest)  I got a BlackBerry Curve White 8520 it’s a pretty phone don’t get me wrong But it’s just so plastic it sort of reminds me of my child’s toy phone but eh I guess I’ll get used to it after a while.  However, it is pretty.

So let us see then today Hubby was off work and I cooked Steaks for everyone (that cost me a lot) but it was worth it.  We had Mac-n-Cheese & Green beans with Turkey Bacon (we do not eat pork) and seasonings and we had an ice-cream party after.  With a whole lotta ice cream and sprinkles, Cherry’s, Nuts & THE WORKS.  It was great. 

We are letting the kids stay up a little tonight to watch a movie and play video games and then Right to bed we go.  Well the smallest already fell asleep about nine so jus the older ones are awake still but its okay it is the weekend.  Well anyways just wanting to drop in to post and I hope you and your family are having a wonderful weekend.

PS. MERCURY IS GOING DIRECT AND I HOPE THINGS WILL FINALLY GET BETTER!

Bad Few Days

Hi, everyone sorry I have not written in a few days.  It has been sort of going not so good around here lately.  My Husband maybe being laid off work (Praying he will not) but it does not look good.  They are finding anyways to get rid of people to cut back on pay and jobs. 

They want to get rid of my husband because his raise is coming up and instead of paying him more; they want to pay the maintenance person to do the floor for the same price they are paying him now.  Therefore, that is good for the other person but bad for my person.  My husband was so upset and thought it was very unfair then they wanted him to sign a paper and he refused he said he needed time to read the paper and they said no if you don’t sign it now we will suspended you for 2 days and that’s what they did. 

THEREFORE, we are worried he will not have a job by tomorrow when he goes back to work.  (Sigh)  I am very scared because I so do not want him to be without a job with our big family and bills.  So in-between that I have been job hunting and being rejected from left to right.  I even applied at Macy’s and they said they did not have any positions for my skills and experience.  Therefore, I am much bummed that I cannot even get a simple job.  Either I am to under qualified or I am over qualified.  I do not know what else to do.  I am trying to find something as a backup in case he is let go.  So yea, that has been my life the last few days.  It has been so terrible.

CHAOS On Labor Day...

As if today can get any, worse…yes I said worse…what is worse?  My Kids not being in school and my quiet time during the week has been lost in the midst of loud noises of boy’s rowdiness.  (The Love of motherhood).  Despite wanting to pull my hair out at this point, do to boys jumping around, screaming and playing Army soldiers.  I am finding my solitude in my blog.  Yes, I love blogging it is the only piece of mind I can get and actually, the ONLY thing I can seem to talk to at this point.  The only thing close to a human.  (Wait brb Joshua is fussing)….geez Gabriel is tormenting poor Joshua.  Why do brothers just love to tease their little brothers for entertainment purposes?  I have no idea.  See I am an only child and it is so hard for me to understand why siblings do what they do.

Anyway, yes today is Labor Day.  Not a Fun day for me at all...  (Wait Sebastian is calling brb).  This never ends anyway, I was trying to decide what the children and I were going to do today, but it looks like it is going to rain so no a lot of outside activities today.  I was actually unprepared for this school holiday.

 I actually remembered they did not have school today after waking up at five and turning off my alarm clock.  Talk about Bummed.  I did not even get to sleep in after I turned the alarm off.  Four of the six children where awake and I mean fully awake and I had to drag my poor sleepy butt outta bed and attend to them all morning just to energize them with breakfast and lunch.  Fun Fun.

Don’t you just wish there was like this off switch you can just turn kids off.  Or better yet a program where you can program them to be such sweet children who do not yell, argue and sit there and be nice to each other?  Oh yea well outta my dream world Heather.  So yea, that has been my day.  Wild, Bored children with no life but to drive their mother crazy.  Fun Fun.  Next time I need to be more prepared for the No School Days home alone with the kids. Ok things are quiet now so I will go see what they are into.

Our Weekend Movie Night

I always love late night movies on the weekends.  There is nothing like cuddling up with the kids on the couch watching a great funny kid’s movie.  We just finished watching “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” It was great and so funny.  And it was long but it was still a great movie.  I totally suggest that movie to watch with your kids.

So now on to finding a few things to do online as far as posting on my new blog.  I have not finished it yet to send out a link.  I have a few posts to post up before I do.  So stay tuned for that.  I am really excited about it.  It is going to be such a great place for me to post my thoughts about my own spiritualism and things I have learned the last few years.

Therefore, I will be back shortly if I have anything else to post.  Hope everyone is having a GREAT Weekend!  I know I am.

Topic Challenge Favorite Tv Program

Today I have been on a total writer’s blockage.  (Don't you hate those times).  It seems to me happing a lot to me lately for some reason.  However, thank goodness for Topic Challenges least I know what I can write about on my personal blog.  Nevertheless, my spiritual blog. That is where I’m having the really big blockage and it’s totally driving me crazy because there’s so many people that are requesting my help and I’m unable to help them because I am unable to help myself get out of this spiritual rut. Therefore, I hope things will come too soon and I figure out what to write about.


However, I do know what I need to write about right now and that is today’s topic challenge.  Today’s Challenge theme is “My Favorite TV Program.”  I honestly do not watch that much TV because so many things are just not my cup of tea anymore.  So many things are just unnecessary these days. (Even for kids) like Degrassi (kids cutting themselves, Kids getting pregnant) and the show act as if it is okay and it is normal.  Anyway, you get what I am saying.  Then you have some of these ghost hunters provoking spirits just for a show (NOT GOOD).

So OK you didn’t actually come here to read me ramble on about what I don’t like, so On to a TV show I DO like….First off I like Ghost Whisper, Medium &  George Lopez (He’s majorly Funny).  Other than that, I do not watch much else.  I mostly enjoy reading, writing, or computer.  However, I do watch many movies but TV not a whole lot.

As far as books are concerned, I am still on the process of reading two big books.  One being the Twilight trilogy “Eclipse” & Eragon. Yes I love books that deal with Vampires, Dragons, magic and Shadow Blades.  


I am also working on two of my own books so in-between times I enjoy reading fantasy books the most.  Not really into other type books, unless its spiritual help books (Mediation, Reiki & Etc.).  THEREFORE, I cannot really say I have a Favorite Book just yet.  But just favorite type of books

Topic Challenge Favorite Movie

I am so behind on my Topic Challenges so hopefully I cannot catch up from yesterday’s topic and todays.  Since Hubby is working tonight, I had a little extra work on my hands.  So since four kids are sleeping and one is gone to a friend for a sleepover.  I can get on here and do my Topic Challenges...  (Yeay).

Ok the first Topic was what my Favorite Movie is.  That is so hard to list because there are so many movies that I truly enjoy.  I will try to list a few that’s my up most favorite

Drama/Love Movies:

P.S I love you-Omgoodness!  That Movie I loved!  It made me laugh and cry all at the same time.  It was very heart warming, touching and sad all at the same time.

It was played in 2007.  Here is a few Information I found about the movie that will better explain it,

Hey Hey Hey Readers, Thought I forgot about cha’ didn’t you.  Na I could never forget about you.  However, Honestly I have been terribly busy with working and practicing on my upcoming Blog Template additions.  So I am quit excited about that.  Therefore, I have been trying to fix a few glitches with the codes and all so, if you are familiar with CSS/HTML you know how much those can be hair-pulling, screen slapping annoying.  However, I HOPE I got everything under control now.  We shall see then I will be off to my creative world that I so humbly enjoy.

I am about a day late on my Topic Challenge too.  I will make up for it I promise.  So Keep checking back often to see what else I have to say.

I just finished getting the kids out the door, after a full morning of Bathing, Brushing teeth and Ironing their uniforms.  They are finally gone.  (Well except the oldest) so yea soon to have a quiet house again one more time before the weekend.  I will be ALL by myself.  (Well sort of, Hubby will be home tonight and then he has to work the night shift so this shall be interesting).  Anyway Thanks for reading.  In addition, I will try to get some house chores done, get on here, and see what I can come up with as far as the Topic Challenges & Decorating Blog Templates.

New Blog Templetes Ive Made

Hello Readers. Sorry I have been away for a bit. I wanted to let you in on a little thing that I am doing.
After trying to search high and low for the perfect templates for my blogs I have decided to make my own. Since I already have HTML, know-how and I can design.

So Hey Why not? Right?

Well Right now I will be practicing you can use the Blogs template’s but expect some hiccups along the way. I will just be adding clean simple Coded Blog Templates and I am still working on some HTML for the more advance features, which is matching font color, Little Embellishments into the Postings and things. In addition, a few headers as well.

Therefore, I have made three so far. Two are available for download and One I am still working on.
So Go here to my new Blog to download the two template’s (I will only be doing 2 column blogs because I can’t seem to get the 3 columns to work with html for some reason that’s why I practice Practice).

My Favorite song: Taylor Swift "He Belongs to me"

Today I am posting for a September’s 30 day posting challenge that I am participating.  The group hosting the challenge is on Cafemom.  (Check out the top page for more details under “Topic Challenge”).

Today’s Topic is “Your Favorite Song”

The Song that I picked is by Taylor Swift.  She is one of my favorite singers. I love just about all her songs but I think “He belongs to me” stands out to me more, because I feel like many of us women can relate to her in many ways in this song/video.  Some of us where a little different from the popular girls and somewhat got the short end of the stick sometimes.  While all the popular girls where glammy and glitzy being so social accepted.  So I really love this song and that she’s gets the guy in the end.  In addition, it is funny to how guys just don’t see a good girl before them when they are there.  I think they are just blinded by the glam.  Lol.
